Celebrate the release of the Surfin' Summer Sounds of THE VAN DEMONS
~Debut Studio EP out March 18, 2019~
Joined on stage by some very special guests, and accompanied by clean livin' scorchers Hot Work, The Van Demons will be bringing their unique blend of classic surf style, spaghetti western, and roaring jungle tunes to the Lansdowne stage. Bands start at MIDNIGHT, night of Saturday March 22nd. Hot bands, NEW TUNES. See ya there
Sydney four-piece HOT WORK bypass mere homage; their skull rattlin' rock'n'roll is an intermingling of eras and contexts. Bringing the desert to the inner city. Pairing the tumble of surf rock with the immediacy of Uber. Hot Work will transport you to a new reality where Quentin Tarantino was asked to direct the musical Grease cast the love child of Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley to play the role of Danny.
THE VAN DEMONS are Sydney's premiere surf outfit, bringing authentic sounds of 1960's instrumental era to life. Live performances are an upbeat combo of twangy guitars, rumbling drums and roaring sax, straight from the beach. Joined by their infamous WATUSI GO-GO DANCERS to inspire audiences to get down, The Van Demons will take you on a journey through the jungle, to 1960s California all the way back to old west. 2019 sees the release of their debut studio EP - Surfin' Summer sounds not to be missed!
